British DVD label, Shameless Screen Entertainment, is re-releasing Lucio Fulci’s giallo classic, The New York Ripper, on both DVD and Blu-ray on April 25, 2011. Not to be confused with Blue Underground’s release of the film back in 2009, Shameless Screen Entertainment’s release has the longest version of the film yet. To see what all was cut, visit here. The features included in this edition and different to those on the Blue Underground release are: A presentation by Antonella Fulci, daughter and curator of Lucio’s work, a new, exclusive 20 minute interview with Antonella Fulci and writer Dardano Sacchetti, and a fan booklet on the making of the film. By the way, this edition is Region free!
